Station Beach NSW - The greenkeepers at the adjacent Golf Course, had recently pruned the Gum Trees, so I scooped up a small branch loaded with dying leaves that were halfway to brown. The leaves were rolled upon themselves and then pushed gently into the sand on their edges which held them in a looser roll and in place. I liked that the leaves could appear as soft even whilst rigid and restricted in the sand.
