Banana Blossom #2
Clareville Beach NSW - one of my very favourite pieces in the series, especially as it amplifies the discipline of only using what was found on the ground and in the moment. If I had walked this way a day earlier, these Banana Blossom Sheafs wouldn’t have yet fallen and if I had happened upon them a day later, they would have already tired to a brown colour. Yet here they were resplendent in their rich sheen. A few sticks to connect them all together, always looking for a balance in the composition.
